It's been hot here of late as we are in the middle of summer and I have my boy home on holidays from school so I have to find things to do to keep us busy and entertained during the brake. We decided to go for a drive into the country and drove from my home town to a place called Kyogle before heading north up a quiet road through a town called Loadstone before heading up to Beaudesert and west to a small town called Boonah and back down to another town called Rathdowny before heading back home. I like to drive roads you wouldn't think of driving on such as dead end roads or dirt roads because that is usually where I'll find hidden treasures for me to either explore or take photos of. I got lucky because I got to take some nice photos and also got to find a couple of abandoned houses that I could explore and film for my youtube channel.
It's been awhile since I've posted on this blog. Maybe because I'm just too lazy but im going to try and be a bit more regular with posting here because I am off on road trips a lot and I guess I really should share more of what I experience while I am out exploring my part of the world which is northern nsw of Australia and there is so much to share with who ever is out there reading this.
Ok, now for the pics of yesterdays drive around. I hope you enjoy them.
I'm heading off for another day trip on the weekend so I see about another blog update then unless I find something else in the meantime.

The shed was huge and full of odd stuff including an old ride on lawn mower. You can get an idea of the size from the door on the left.
The best score of all was finding this abandoned house near Boonah that I got to film. Lots of very tall grass made for a scary explore because I only had thongs on and it looked very much like brown snake territory. The building to the left was the original house and the larger part of the house was added at a later date.
This is the later add on the the original house and was a nice explore. I'll get to uploading the video to my channel soon.
This was another abandoned very old house I found but unfortunately I couldn't get to it because of the very long grass and having my boy with me. I couldn't risk the long grass and the possibility of brown snakes. I'll try again another day because this place looks really good and is teasing me just sitting there up on the hill.
