It has been over a year now since I last posted 23nd march 2013 actually.
I think I best keep at it otherwise what's the point of having a blog?
A lot has happened since last I was here, I am now a foster parent of an 11 year old boy with special needs, Autism to be precise and he has been with me now since June last year and it's been very challenging yet very rewarding at the same time. I can fill you in more in other posts so as not to bore you with details.
My stepfather has also passed away since I spoke last as well and mixed in with that I have been living the fact my sister has cancer and has been extremely sick because of treatment etc. That I can fill you in on in other posts as well but today she has gone to the doc because of lumps that have appeared and I'm waiting on news.
In amongst all of this rather trying year I have been developing my photography skills and every chance I can manage now, I try to venture out to get some shots.
I headed out this morning for some sunrise shots over the ocean.
It was raining and unfortunately didn't manage to get the sunrise I'd have hoped for but still managed some good photos anyways and you gotta watch out for rogue waves when pre occupied with cameras and umbrella's while perched precariously on slippery rocks, HA!
So, I won't bore anyone reading this with a novel for my first time back and lets see if I can up date this daily, no reason why I can't .

Michael, I am a dedicated subscriber to your YouTube channel (although I have never posted there), and am glad you provided a link to these posts as well. Someone else mentioned being able to "travel" with you to places I will never get to myself, so I really appreciate these posts, the beautiful pix, and your deprecating sense of humor. BTW I live in New Hampshire, USA.
